
Arabic Teacher (Early Years)
Reports to: Principal / School Administrator
Job Purpose
To deliver engaging, play-based Arabic language instruction for Early Years students, supporting language acquisition, communication skills, and cultural identity in alignment with KHDA standards and early childhood best practices.
Key Responsibilities
1. Teaching & Learning

Plan and deliver interactive, age-appropriate Arabic lessons.

Use play-based, inquiry-based, and sensory learning approaches.

Develop early language skills (listening, speaking, phonics, vocabulary).

Differentiate instruction to meet individual learning needs.

Use continuous assessment to monitor student progress.
2. Classroom Management

Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.

Promote positive behavior and emotional well-being.

Establish routines that support independent learning.
3. Assessment and Reporting
-
Conduct formative and summative assessments.

Maintain accurate student records and portfolios.

Provide regular feedback to parents.
4. Curriculum & Planning

Plan lessons aligned with EYFS (if applicable) and KHDA standards.

Contribute to curriculum development and improvement.
5. Student Development & Inclusion
-
Support social, emotional, and language development.

Identify students with additional learning needs and provide support.
-
Promote inclusion and respect for diversity.
6. Communication & Collaboration
-
Build strong relationships with parents and caregivers.

Participate in meetings, school events, and training sessions.
-
Collaborate with teaching assistants and colleagues.
7. Safeguarding & Compliance

Follow safeguarding and child protection policies.

Ensure student safety and well-being at all times.

Maintain confidentiality of student information.
Requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree in Arabic or related field (attested).
-
Early Years teaching experience preferred.
-
Knowledge of KHDA and early childhood frameworks.
-
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
-
UAE Police Clearance Certificate.
-
Safeguarding training completed.
