MOE Teacher (Arabic & Islamic Studies)

Reports to: Principal / School Administrator
Job Purpose

To deliver high-quality Arabic and Islamic Studies education aligned with MOE curriculum and KHDA standards, ensuring academic excellence, cultural understanding, and strong moral values.

Key Responsibilities

1. Teaching & Learning

  • Deliver Arabic and Islamic Studies lessons per MOE curriculum.

  • Prepare structured lesson plans with clear learning objectives.

  • Differentiate teaching strategies to meet diverse learners.

  • Integrate technology and modern teaching methods.

  • Assess and track student performance regularly.

2. Assessment & Data Management

 

  • Conduct formative and summative assessments.

  • Maintain accurate student performance data.

  • Use data to improve teaching and learning outcomes.

3. Classroom Management

  • Maintain a disciplined and respectful classroom environment.

  • Promote Islamic values and ethical behavior.

4. Curriculum & Planning

  • Ensure full coverage of MOE curriculum requirements.

  • Participate in curriculum review and development.

5. Student Development

  • Support academic, moral, and social development.

  • Identify and support struggling students.

6. Communication & Collaboration

  • Maintain strong communication with parents.

  • Participate in school meetings, inspections, and events.

  • Collaborate with colleagues and leadership.

7. Safeguarding & Compliance

  • Follow safeguarding and child protection policies.

  • Ensure compliance with KHDA and MOE regulations.

  • Maintain confidentiality of student records.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Arabic, Islamic Studies, or related field (attested).

  • Teaching qualification preferred.

  • Experience with MOE curriculum.

  • Strong Arabic communication skills.

  • UAE Police Clearance Certificate.

  • Safeguarding training completed.
