
MOE Teacher (Arabic & Islamic Studies)
Reports to: Principal / School Administrator
Job Purpose
To deliver high-quality Arabic and Islamic Studies education aligned with MOE curriculum and KHDA standards, ensuring academic excellence, cultural understanding, and strong moral values.
Key Responsibilities
1. Teaching & Learning

Deliver Arabic and Islamic Studies lessons per MOE curriculum.

Prepare structured lesson plans with clear learning objectives.

Differentiate teaching strategies to meet diverse learners.

Integrate technology and modern teaching methods.
-
Assess and track student performance regularly.
2. Assessment & Data Management
-
Conduct formative and summative assessments.

Maintain accurate student performance data.

Use data to improve teaching and learning outcomes.
3. Classroom Management

Maintain a disciplined and respectful classroom environment.
-
Promote Islamic values and ethical behavior.
4. Curriculum & Planning
-
Ensure full coverage of MOE curriculum requirements.

Participate in curriculum review and development.
5. Student Development
-
Support academic, moral, and social development.

Identify and support struggling students.
6. Communication & Collaboration
-
Maintain strong communication with parents.
-
Participate in school meetings, inspections, and events.
-
Collaborate with colleagues and leadership.
7. Safeguarding & Compliance
-
Follow safeguarding and child protection policies.
-
Ensure compliance with KHDA and MOE regulations.

Maintain confidentiality of student records.
Requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree in Arabic, Islamic Studies, or related field (attested).

Teaching qualification preferred.
-
Experience with MOE curriculum.
-
Strong Arabic communication skills.
-
UAE Police Clearance Certificate.
-
Safeguarding training completed.
